2D/3D Pots

Students will create a 3-D clay pinch pot using their hands then sketch it from observation. They will add shade and shadow to their 2-D drawing to give the illusion of 3-D depth.

 

Description:

Supplies: 

  • 1/4-1/3 lb. of Air-Dry Clay (enough to fit in palm)

  • 6”x6” square drawing paper

  • sharpened pencil

  • 7”x9” mounting paper

  • glue stick

  • baby wipes

  • 1”x4” paper (name/class)
